Dear Patient,
I have been practicing as an Obstetrician and Gynecologist in Rockland County since 1991, first in a group practice and then on my own since 2003. While I will certainly continue to see patients in my Suffern office for both problem and well gynecologic visits, I have decided to stop practicing obstetrics effective February 1, 2024. I will definitely miss delivering babies in the next phase of my career, but I will continue to work full-time as a gynecologist, hopefully for many years to come!
For patients currently pregnant with due dates after January 18, 2024, I will ask that you find another obstetrical provider for the remainder of this pregnancy and for delivery. Once you have decided where you are to complete your prenatal care, please fill out our request for records form and we will gladly forward the records via fax or by email to you or to the practice that you designate. If you require a printed chart there will be a printing fee along with a postage fee if the chart is to be mailed.
I have enjoyed practicing obstetrics for these past 32 years and I thank you for the privilege of participating in your prenatal care. I look forward to the opportunity to continue to provide you with up-to-date, compassionate, gynecologic care. Feel free to contact my office if you have any questions.
Warm regards,
Dr. Peter T. Simonson
